Hello, I’m Harriet.
British-born and bred. I grew up in a small village in the English countryside, but have a truly global mindset. I have 10 years experience working within intercultural teams in the UK, Japan, Myanmar and now France for corporate and start-ups - I can speak French and Japanese.
I’m a CELTA qualified British English language trainer. Now happily settled in Paris, my main focus is to help French executives refine their language and articulation skills in English to the highest level possible.

My story
I believe that language education opens doors. Learning and mastering a language opens up life-changing opportunities, yet people can often struggle to find their voice in another language.
Since living and working in France I’ve been surprised at just how many people actively avoid speaking English, for fear of judgement from others. I have learnt from clients that this fear often stems from their their early years of language learning at school; often gaining a strong technical foundation in English, but lacking the opportunities to speak with confidence in front of others.
Fluency in English is increasingly in demand in France - particularly in a business setting. It’s no longer just about memorising grammar structures, it’s all about having more clarity of communication and impact on the global stage.
That’s why I started Eloquently English - to help native French-speakers unlock their true potential in spoken English - to be better understood at work, to have a greater impact in front of clients, and to fast-track their career progression opportunities.
