EXPERIENCED PUBLIC SPEAKING COACH & COMMUNICATION TRAINER.

Harriet is an experienced public speaking and communication specialist, helping French executives and entrepreneurs in mastering effective communication in English for global business. With expertise in speech and language training, business and HR, she has a wealth of experience facilitating effective communication in the workplace.

From a young age, Harriet established a strong foundation for public communication through her elocution, speech and drama training. Her career also spans roles as an international liaison officer in finance services - managing client relationships and leading intercultural teams in the UK and across South East Asia. Transitioning to HR and language training, she designed programmes for diverse Asian teams and later managed technical skilling programs for global corporate clients at Microsoft in France.

It was only when Harriet came to France in 2020 where she discovered the term - Xenoglossophobia - the fear of public speaking in another language. Recognising the anxiety faced by many French professionals often due to language learning experiences at school, she became determined to help them overcome this fear.

Harriet's passion lies in unlocking human potential by empowering individuals to combat their fear of judgement when speaking English in public. In 2022, Harriet became an ICF accredited coach and communication trainer and launched Eloquently English. Her aim is to empower French professionals to become confident and convincing communicators on the global business stage.
